When John and Barb Markham arrived in Charlotte in 1996, they weren't just moving to a new city—they were planting the seeds of a dream that would transform landscapes across the Carolinas.

With John's trained eye as a landscape architect and Barb's sharp business acumen, they saw more than just stones and mulch; they saw potential—the potential to create something extraordinary by combining expertise, passion, and a deep commitment to their community.

Starting with a single trailer load of stone, and an unwavering belief that every project deserves exceptional materials and personal attention, they built Markham Landscape Products from the ground up, much like the beautiful landscapes they would help to curate.

Today, their sons Corey and Chris continue this legacy, proving that some of the strongest roots are those grown from family, hard work, and a shared vision of transforming outdoor spaces one innovative material at a time.
